UDA Issues Certificates to Winners, Reinforcing Party Stronghold in Key Regions.



The United Democratic Alliance (UDA), one of Kenya’s most politically popular parties, has officially issued nomination certificates to winners of its recent party nominations in Emurua Dikirr Constituency (Narok County), Poro Ward (Samburu County), and Endo Ward (Elgeyo-Marakwet County). The exercise, conducted through the party’s advanced IT nomination system, ensured transparent registration, secure payment verification, and timely issuance of certificates to successful aspirants.

The nominations were highly competitive, with multiple aspirants vying for the party’s coveted tickets in each constituency and ward.

Secretary-General Hassan Omar Hassan noted during the media presentation that the process reflected UDA’s commitment to internal democracy and inclusivity, urging party members to unite
behind the certified candidates. He emphasized that the winners represent the party’s ideals and readiness for the upcoming by-elections, and praised the digital system for strengthening process integrity and ensuring real-time verification of eligibility and payments.

The issuance of these certificates comes at a time when Kenya’s political landscape is heating up ahead of the 2027 General Elections. UDA has recently strengthened its position by winning several by-elections, demonstrating strong grassroots mobilisation and organisational capability. Meanwhile, opposition parties are engaged in realignments and coalition talks, competing to present a united front and settle leadership disputes. These political developments are unfolding alongside national concerns, including flood response efforts and policy implementation, highlighting a critical period in Kenya’s politics.
With the nominations complete, UDA’s certified candidates are now officially endorsed and ready to contest vigorously in their respective constituencies and wards, reflecting the party’s growing influence and competitive edge in the country’s political arena.
